About the Festival

The International Theatre Festival of Kerala (ITFoK) is held annually in the city of Thrissur, India. This dynamic festival showcases a wide range of performances, from traditional to contemporary, fostering cultural exchange and interaction among artists from around the world.

Launched in 2008 under the leadership of renowned film and theatre actor Murali, ITFoK has become a platform for sharing ideas and presenting diverse performances. The festival embraces a variety of genres and emphasizes cultural exchange, attracting independent theatre groups from different countries.

In addition to performances, ITFoK hosts interactive workshops, providing artists with opportunities to connect with theatre experts and gain deeper insights into the complexities of theatre production.
