Edgar is a photographer and artist from Estonia who lives during World War II and aligns himself with every aggressive force that occupies his country and seeks his own progress, to the point where he sacrifices his family. Edgar finally makes a film with the support of the last power that occupied his country and goes on the red carpet of the Cannes festival.
