Synopsis:

A bride and groom rent Asam’s car to travel from the city to a village. Along the way, Asam kidnaps the bride. In despair, the bride throws herself out of the car, leading to her death. Later, the groom takes his dog’s leash and heads toward the sunset, never to return. Asam eventually moves to the village, rents the groom’s house, and begins writing letters to himself daily, seeking self-purification.

Different villagers visit Asam’s house, each representing a distinct ideology. Asam, ultimately, departs, leaving all those he encountered transformed by his presence.

This play delves into Asam’s (Adam’s) quest to uncover the greatest sin, interspersing excerpts from sacred texts like the Quran, Bible, and Torah. It portrays the condition of modern humanity, alienated from its essence, offering a poignant reflection on the roots of mankind and the search for identity and authenticity in contemporary life.
